I'm a express maintenance technician. My feet are the only area that comfort matters. This is the second pair of reebok work shoes I've bought. The first pair was the skate shoe and after almost five years of use they set the bar pretty high in comfort and durability.I've only worn the new sneakers for one day and here's my breakdown.ComfortThese shoes have memory foam inserts right out the box. Like most factory memory foam inserts, I don't think they'll stay comfortable for too long. I don't hold this fact against the shoes because insoles wear out unless you just don't wear the shoe. The inside lining is padded and provides comfort on the sides of my feet and around the heel.SizingAmazon is always a gamble with sizing. I've ordered 11 wides that fit like a 10 narrow and other times I've bought 10 1/2 wides that fit like clown shoes. I ordered these in a 10 1/2 wide and they fit perfectly.AppearanceThey look super clean, I almost don't want to wear them to work! The stitching looks good and solid, the soles look like they won't fail anytime soon. The laces look and feel good. Also, they look super clean!Shop lifeI walk on slick floors, washer fluid, sometimes coolant and oil. I didn't feel any slippage, the grip held me up. Pushing broken down cars is one of the quickest ways to destroy work shoes. I didn't feel like I was wearing down the soles, I certainly didn't slip in puddles whole I was pushing. The sole feels reinforced, I stepped on extension cords, tire bars, even a couple of tools and I didn't feel any give in the soles. I can't speak about the safety toe yet, I generally avoid dropping heavy things on my feet.Worth it?I've only worn them one day, so it's difficult to answer that right now. However, I mentioned the skate style shoe and how great those have been, I anticipate these sneakers will be just as good.
